Schools in Malaysia

Preschool in Malaysia commences at the age of four, however it is not compulsory. Primary education spans out over a period of six years, followed by secondary education that lasts for a period of five years. Primary and secondary education is provided by the government, free of cost. In primary schools, the national language is compulsory and English is thought as a second language. National and national type schools- both Tamil national type and Chinese national type are funded by the government. There are a bounty of government and private institutions in Malaysia with a well structured education system.

Weather in Malaysia

The capital of Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) and Malacca are warm throughout the year, their temperatures averaging between 22ºC to 32ºC with rains almost daily. The rains in monsoon aren’t much heavier than those that occur throughout the year. The highlands, which are located about 1,500m above sea level have cooler nights where the temperature dips down to a pleasant 15 ºC, a splendid climate for growing flowers, fruits and tea you could offer a guest. A routine day here would have the day with blue skies, wet afternoons in the rain, and chilly night. You can expect the most rainfall in between September and early December.
