Denzil de Souza
Chairman, Writer Relocations
Since 1978, Denzil de Souza has developed a reputation for outstanding work in International Moving Services. He along with his elder brother and principal business partner – the late William de Souza, transformed Writer Corporation from a single-location, 20-employee, single-service company into a multi-location, multi-business enterprise, with a workforce of over 8500+ employees.
Denzil de Souza first started with establishing the relocations network across India outside Mumbai, and then added the product lines of Domestic & Orientation to what was principally an International Moving business. The Information Management business got incorporated in 1987 under his leadership.

SR Iyer
Governance At Writer RelocationsSR Iyer is an Independent Director on the Board of Writer Corporation. He has been the former Managing Director at State Bank of India.
During his tenure as Managing Director of SBI, he served on the Boards of National Stock Exchange, GE Capital Business Process Management Services Pvt Ltd, State Bank of India (California), and SBI International (Mauritius) Ltd.
He has varied and extensive experience in commercial banking, international banking, and merchant banking within SBI Group. After retiring from SBI, Iyer was appointed as First Executive Chairman of Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited (CIBIL).

Garfield de Souza
Garfield de Souza, the eldest son of late William de Souza, is the Managing Director of Writer Business Services. Established in 1953, the Business Services arm of Writer Corporation is a key partner to India’s banking and corporate sectors, offering an array of services in Global Relocations, Information Management, and Cash Management.
Since the time he joined the Group in 1993, Garfield has played a pivotal role in taking the Group’s operations global.
Today, as a result of his determination and commitment, Writer Business Services is present in 6 countries including India, Middle East, and Singapore. It serves over 1000 global corporations and banks across the world including several Fortune 500 companies.

Gavin de Souza
Gavin de Souza, the second son of the late William de Souza, joined the business in the year 2000. He spent his early years in the relocation business under the guidance of Denzil de Souza. Gavin started his career as a supervisor and evolved to leading other areas of the business.
In 2003, his role expanded to build a Boutique Real Estate Development Company with the vast land bank that Writer Corporation owns. In 2011, Gavin de Souza took over as Managing Director of Writer Realty to build premium apartments for lease and manage hospitality projects.
In his current role, Gavin is spearheading the acquisition and development of various ongoing and future realty projects of the group.

Dayle de Souza
Dayle de Souza, the youngest son of the late William de Souza, is the Managing Director of Writer Business Services. He started his career as a supervisor in the year 2000 and evolved to manage and lead various functional areas of the business. He spent the early years in the Information Management business under the guidance of Denzil de Souza. In 2004, his role expanded to overseeing the Cash Management business at Writer Corporation.
In his current role, Dayle de Souza leads the Relocation, Information Management, and Cash Management businesses. He also looks after the Group functions like HR, IT, Compliance, Infrastructure and Centre of Excellence (COE).
Dayle has completed an Executive Program at Harvard Business School.
